Giuliano Picchi is a cultural manager and arts economist. He was born in Rome where he graduated in Architecture with a focus on museography and scenography and where he attended acting school. He later specialised in Venice with a master’s in Economics and management of arts and cultural activities. In 2016, he founded the international platform Scenography Today, a non-commercial project dedicated to scenic visual arts, of which he is currently curator. He was previously managing director of companies providing creative, architectural, and international communication services. He has lived and worked in several countries. He speaks seven languages, he conducts research on the creative economy and is a freelance manager and consultant for cultural and arts organisations.
