Giuliano Picchi is a cultural manager and creative economy specialist. He holds a degree in Economics and management of arts and cultural activities from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and executive education in Cultural Diplomacy from ISPI of Milan. He previously graduated in Architecture with a focus on city planning, museography and scenography, and education, at the Sapienza University of Rome, where he also received education in acting for theatre. In 2016, he founded the digital platform Scenography Today dedicated to scenic visual arts, of which he is currently a curator. He researches the creative economy and is currently director of UNITA. He was previously head of international communication for the Albertina Academy and managing director at Axemtra and Sagisco providing creative, architectural, and internationalization services; he has worked on hundreds of international communication projects for major corporations, and in design and production for cultural institutions among which the National Museum of Palazzo Venezia, MACRO Museum, Teatro Eliseo. He speaks seven languages and has lived in six countries.
