Giuliano Picchi is a cultural manager and creative economy specialist. He was born in Rome, where he graduated in Architecture focusing on city planning, museography and scenography, and where he attended acting school. He specialized at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in Economics and management of arts and cultural activities and at ISPI of Milan in cultural diplomacy. In 2016, he founded the digital platform Scenography Today dedicated to scenic visual arts, of which he is currently curator. He researches the creative economy. He was previously head of international communication for the Albertina Academy and managing director at Axemtra and Sagisco providing creative, architectural, and internationalization services; he has worked on hundreds of international communication projects for major corporations, and in design and production for cultural institutions among which the National Museum of Palazzo Venezia, MACRO Museum, Teatro Eliseo. He speaks seven languages and has lived in six countries.
